Salvation Army Angel tree host Hattiesburg

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM)-The Salvation Army has taken to Turtle Creek Mall in support of the local families in need.

The community came out to hear the kindergarten students-Sacred Heart pre kindergarten sing and watch the ribbon cutting Friday, all officially opened the Christmas season to the Salvation Army. This also marked the beginning of the Angel Tree program. Angel Tree layer contains information about a child in need, including a list of Christmas gifts you want. People can take one of these angels and then go shopping for children. The Salvation Army officials hope that despite hard times, people will come and show their support.

This Program will continue to be Dec. The Salvation Army will also start fundraiser Kettle red. They will be located in different locations in the city and the collected money will go toward their years-about the Ministry.
